Кратко
A clear operator guide to how hotel transfer works on Side boat trips: usually included in the ticket price, with distance from the departure point driving what you pay. Comparison table by departure point, honest pickup phrasing, and approximate 2026 starting prices from our live system.
On most of our Side boat trips the hotel transfer is included in the ticket price — there's no separate transfer fee at the door. What changes the total is distance: a trip leaving from Side costs less than the same idea run from Antalya or Alanya, because the transfer leg is longer. You book online and pay on the tour day, and the live price on each boat trips in Side page already has the transfer built in.
Is the transfer free, included or an extra?
Let's be precise, because "free" and "included" get muddled. The transfer isn't free — someone drives the minibus — but on our shared sea trips and lake cruises the cost of that drive is already baked into the per-person price you see. There's no surprise line item on the day. When a trip does carry an extra, it's usually because your hotel sits well outside the normal pickup zone, and in that case we flag it before you commit, not after.
So the honest answer to the title: on the standard shared boat trips we run from the Side and Manavgat coast, treat the transfer as included. The word "extra" only comes into play at the far edges of our pickup range.
Why distance drives the price
Our boats leave from fixed points — Green Canyon runs on the Oymapinar reservoir near Manavgat, the sea trips leave from Side and nearby harbours, and some island days depart from Antalya. The further your hotel is from the departure point, the more road time the transfer needs, and that road time is the single biggest reason two similar-sounding trips can differ by twenty or thirty euros.
The clearest example is Green Canyon. From Side the freshwater lake cruise starts at about EUR 28 per person; the same style of day from Antalya rises to around EUR 54, and almost all of that gap is transfer distance to the Oymapinar reservoir. Same lake, same boat, different pickup — different price. That's the pattern across the whole coast.
Transfer cost by departure point
Here's how included-versus-extra tends to work depending on where your trip departs. These are general patterns from how our system prices things, not fixed quotes — the live figure always sits on the individual tour page.
| Departure point | Transfer status | What drives the total |
|---|---|---|
| Side / Manavgat | Included | Shortest transfer leg; lowest starting prices |
| Belek | Included | Close to the Side-area departure points |
| Antalya | Included | Longer drive to the departure point pushes the price up |
| Alanya | Included | Longer transfer along the coast; price reflects the distance |
| Kemer | Included | West of Antalya; longer transfer on island and sea days |
If you want to see the exact trips bundled to your resort, start from your departure hub — for example the Antalya departures page collects every trip that already includes a pickup from that side of the coast.
How pickup actually works on the day
Guests are picked up from their hotel in the morning; the exact time is confirmed the day before and varies from hotel to hotel. We don't publish a per-hotel time in advance because the minibus route is set once we know the day's bookings, and a hotel at the near end of a run gets a different slot from one at the far end. What you can rely on is a confirmation the evening before with your window, so you're not guessing at breakfast.
Our drivers know the resort strips, so meeting points are usually your hotel lobby or main gate. If your accommodation sits well outside the normal pickup zone, that's the kind of case where an extra or a nearby meeting point may apply — and we sort it out with you when you book, not on the day.

Shared trips vs private boats and yachts
Everything above is about shared trips, where the per-person price carries the transfer for the whole group. Private boats, gulets and yachts work differently: they're priced per boat on request, not per seat, and the transfer arrangement is agreed as part of that quote. If you're chartering the whole vessel, ask us and we'll price the day — boat, route and pickup — as one figure.
Which departure point should you choose?
If you're staying in Side, Manavgat or Belek, you're in the sweet spot — the shortest transfers and the lowest starting prices, from the freshwater calm of the Green Canyon boat tour to a full day at sea. Staying further along the coast in Antalya, Alanya or Kemer doesn't rule anything out; it just means the transfer leg is longer, which the price reflects. Island days like Suluada and dolphin cruises run from several points, so pick the one closest to you and let the pickup do the driving.
Frequently asked questions
Is hotel transfer included in the boat trip price?
On our standard shared boat trips, yes — the transfer is included in the per-person price shown on the tour page. There's normally no separate transfer fee to pay on the day. The only time an extra applies is for hotels well outside the usual pickup zone, and we'll tell you before you book.
Why is the same trip cheaper from Side than from Antalya?
Distance. The boats leave from fixed points, so a longer drive to the departure adds cost. Green Canyon, for instance, starts around EUR 28 from Side and rises to about EUR 54 from Antalya — same lake, longer transfer.
What time will I be picked up from my hotel?
Guests are picked up from their hotel in the morning; the exact time is confirmed the day before and varies from hotel to hotel. You'll get your pickup window the evening before, once the day's route is set.
Do I pay for the transfer separately or in cash?
No separate cash for the transfer on shared trips — it's part of the ticket. You book online and pay for the whole trip on the tour day, with the price you saw on the page already including your pickup.
How does transfer work for a private boat or yacht?
Private boats, gulets and yachts are priced per boat on request rather than per seat, and the transfer is agreed as part of that quote. Send us your group size and resort and we'll price the full day, pickup included.
